Riad Africa - Marrakech Medina Maison D'Hote - Marrakesh

The riad was super charming with amazing staff that treated us like fam! The breakfast on the rooftop was out of this world, with fresh flatbreads and egg tagine that i can't stop thinkin about. The location is great too, just a short walk to all the market fun. Pools are nice to relax by, and the vibe of the whole place is just so chill. Loved that the staff were always there to help!

The rooms were a bit dark sometimes and there was some confusion with the room type when we arrived. Water sprayed everywhere in the bathroom during showers which was kinda annoying.

Location close to the mountains, the main square in the old town surrounded by many restaurants and other tourist spots such as the Bahia Palace. Enjoyable and plentiful breakfast except for the pancakes, amazing location.

Exceptional service, tastefully decorated quadruple room with a double bed, a space heater, for example. Perfect and excellent location, not too far from a Kutubiyya mosque.

A peaceful retreat in chaos

Nestled in the heart of the Medina, this Riad is a hidden gem. The friendly staff, and the rooftop breakfast was lovely. Each morning, we enjoyed warm flatbreads and the best orange juice while soaking in the fine views of the bustling market below.

Our room lacked adequate lighting and ventilation were good. Navigating through the maze-like streets to reach the Riad was initially overwhelming.

The good staff, the cozy accommodations, the inviting dining areas, the fine rooftop views, an enchanting experience!

It was a commendable fit for a weekend excursion in Marrakesh with excellent value for money. The staff made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality, especially during breakfast on the rooftop where they served freshly squeezed orange juice. Remember to bring comfortable shoes for exploring the nearby alleyways easily.

Nothing it was perfect

Riad africa is a fine oasis in the heart of the medina. It's just a short stroll from the hustle of the market. The breakfast on the rooftop was very nice, and i loved that the staff was always attentive. Everyone was so friendly.

I also appreciated the quick and easy check-in process.

Navigating to the hotel can be a challenge, as the exact location isn't clearly marked, requiring a 5-10 minute walk through narrow pedestrian streets filled with mopeds and bikes. It can be quite the shock after the taxi drop-off. Bathrooms lack shower curtains, so water tends to spray everywhere during showers, which might not bother everyone but could be an annoyance. The noise from the entrance doorbell and foot traffic can be heard in some rooms, though things quiet down after hours.

I had a warm welcome from the staff, who went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and offered a cozy ambiance. Communication regarding the room change was lacking, and the Wi-Fi connectivity could be improved in certain areas. Still, the food was excellent, particularly the local dishes prepared each evening.

The beautiful interior decoration combined with the charming roof terrace made for a fine atmosphere. The cozy seating arrangements on the terraces provided ample space for relaxation, allowing me to enjoy the peaceful ambiance in the heart of the Medina.

Accessibility to certain areas could be better.
